For the Salon Résidence, a charming boutique fair held in the lovely Singer Museum in Laren, we set up our very own Ethnic Chic experience.

This blue corridor was a part of our creative oasis and was designed to reflect our view on interior design.

 

In this composition we brought together a royal blue color, hand-painted gold- and silver-leaf chinoiserie and exquisite silks. from the fabulous De Gournay.

We complemented the scene with matching furniture pieces to give it that extraordinary look.

 

The charming sofa and club chairs by Donghia are mixed with antique brass. Inspired by all cultures we chose to select and combine pieces with different origins: Japanese monkeys with Tsuba sword designs in the cushions and curtains, checkered woven silk in ruby red on the chairs, a Venetian Sheherazade by Fortuny and American vintage brass finishes.

The blue corridor reflected our endless creative possibilities and the dare to stand out.
